Application of Torque Limiter in Small Truck Cranes in China
The truck crane is a kind of crane mounted on the chassis of the truck. The driving cab is separated from the lifting control cab. It is mainly used in engineering construction. For example: highways, bridges, buildings, emergency and so on. General engineering teams, construction industry and power installation departments all need automobile cranes.
The crane arm will expand and change the length and working angle to affect the rated working load. At the same time, because the structure of automobile chassis will cause the rated working load of the small mobile crane to change when the working orientation of the crane changes, all the cranes can not work outside the designed working moment performance.
Solution:
In order to enable the truck crane to work in a safe working load range, it is necessary to have a monitoring system to automatically and real-time monitor the lifting load, boom telescopic length and boom working angle of the crane, and to give an alarm when the crane is in dangerous working conditions. At the same time, the control signal is output to limit the crane to continue to move in dangerous direction.
1. Display function
Torque limiter can synthetically display various parameters in the working process in the form of text, graphics and characters.
Such as the lifting weight of the main hook, the lifting weight of the auxiliary hook, the working angle of the boom, the length of the boom, the working radius, etc.
2. Alarm function
With sound and light alarm function: When the working range of the crane boom is close to the working limit, when the lifting load and moment are close to the current allowable load limit of the equipment, the moment system emits a slow early warning buzzing sound. The warning indicator of the moment system flickers slowly.
When the working range of the crane boom reaches the working limit, and when the lifting load and moment reach the allowable load limit of the equipment at present, the moment system emits a rapid alarm buzzing sound. Torque system alarm indicates that the red light flickers rapidly.
3. Torque Protection Function
Control output function: When the working range of the boom is close to the working limit, when the lifting load and moment are close to the current allowable load limit of the equipment, the output control signal of the moment system prevents the crane from continuing to run in the dangerous direction and allows the crane to move in the safe direction.
